DESCRIPTION:Event Description\nJoin us for a Garlic Mustard pull at Geddes Environmental Park in downtown Kincardine ! \nHow to Get Involved:\n\nShow up at the Geddes Environmental Park parking lot in Kincardine for the 2pm start time\nJoin the Kincardine Trails Association  volunteer group by filling out a volunteer interest form and registering with the Municipality of Kincardine\nVisit the Invasive Species Management Project 2025 website\n\nWhat to Expect\nWe will be working through a well defined project area\, mechanically controlling garlic mustard by hand pulling it and disposing in plastic bags. The plastic bags will be gathered up and left outdoors to solarize at the end of the event (which will be disposed of at a later date). \nGarlic mustard is relatively easy to pull out of the ground by hand\, but still requires a lot of bending and repetitive motion – so be sure to warm up. \nWhat to bring​\n\nGarden gloves​\nSpray with insect repellant (tics) ​\nLong sleeve/pants​\nAppropriate footwear for conditions\n\nMore information\nGarlic Mustard Best Management Practices \nGarlic Mustard Technical Bulletin (Latest) \nEDDMapS project area \n
